【令和２年薬事工業生産動態統計】ASTROM通信 234号

少し日が長くなってきたと感じるこの頃ですが、いかがお過ごしですか？

さて、今回は、2021年12月28日に厚生労働省から発表された令和２年(2020年)の薬事工業生産動態統計年報について取り上げたいと思います。
最後までお読みいただければ幸いです。

令和２年薬事工業生産動態統計年報　　　

2021年12月28日に厚生労働省より令和２年の薬事工業生産動態統計年報が発表されました。
以下に主な内容をピックアップしました。

■医薬品■

１．生産金額について
令和２年の医薬品の国内生産金額は、9兆3,054億円で、前年の9兆4,860億円と比べると、1.9％の減少となっています。
内訳は、医療用医薬品は1.7％の減少、要指導医薬品・一般用医薬品は4.5％の減少、要指導医薬品・一般用医薬品のうちの配置用家庭薬は9.7％の減少となっています。
国内の医薬品生産金額は落ち込んでいるのかと思われるかもしれませんが、これは平成30年から令和元年に37.3％という大幅な伸びを示したために落ち込んだように見えるだけで、平成30年の6兆9,077億円から比べると34.7％の伸びになっています。ただ、配置用家庭薬については、平成30年から比べて82.7％の大幅な減少となっています。
生産金額の多い医薬品(薬効大分類別)は、以下のようになりました。
1位　その他の代謝性薬品（1兆2,436億円、前年比+7.6％）前年2位
2位　腫瘍用薬（1兆2,160億円、前年比+4.7％）前年1位
3位　中枢神経系用薬（1兆570億円、前年比-5.8％）前年3位
4位　循環器官用薬（9,394億円、前年比-5.8％）前年4位
5位　血液・体液用薬（6,413億円、前年比-6.1％）前年5位

生産金額の多い医薬品薬効中分類は以下の通りです。
1位　その他の腫瘍用薬（1兆1,591億円、前年比+6.6％）前年1位
2位　他に分類されない代謝性医薬品（6,814億円、前年比+6.1％）前年2位
3位　糖尿病用剤（4,256億円、前年比+12.3％）前年4位
4位　血液凝固阻止剤（3,746億円、前年比-2.2％）前年3位
5位　血圧降下剤（3,372億円、前年比+3.7）前年6位
医薬品薬効中分類別で生産金額の増減を見てみますと、59分類のうち24分類で増加していました。前年に対して増え方が多いのは、多い順に、
主としてカビに作用する抗生物質製剤　前年比+137.3％
外皮用殺菌消毒剤　前年比+37.5％
甲状腺，副甲状腺ホルモン剤　前年比+25.8％、
その他の外皮用薬　前年比+16.7％、
血液製剤類　前年比+14.7％
で、逆に減り方が多いのは、多い順に、
抗ウイルス剤　前年比-43.6％
代謝拮抗剤　前年比-38.7％
混合ビタミン剤（ビタミンＡ・Ｄ混合製剤を除く。）　前年比-23.2％
生化学的検査用剤　前年比-22.3％
呼吸促進剤　前年比-20.3％
でした。

２．輸出入金額
医薬品の輸出金額は、5,125億円、前年比+15.8％で、金額で見た主な輸出国は
1位　スイス（1,547.4億円、前年比+22.0%）
2位　アメリカ（1,074.0億円、前年比+50.4％）
3位　中国（703.7億円、前年比+10.5％）
4位　台湾（227.1億円、前年比+6.6％）
5位　韓国（226.8億円、前年比+1.4％）
でした。
輸入金額は、2兆8,534億円、前年比+3.6％で、金額で見た主な輸入国は
1位　ドイツ（5,975億円、前年比-0.5％）
2位　アメリカ（5,365億円、前年比-2.8％）
3位　スイス（3,202億円、前年比-6.1％）
4位　ベルギー（2,215億円、前年比+30.3％）
5位　イギリス（2,121億円、前年比+39.8％）
でした。

３．都道府県ランキング
生産金額の多い都道府県は、
1位　埼玉県（9,187億円、前年比+1.9%）前年1位
2位　栃木県（8,675億円、前年比+0.4%）前年2位
3位　静岡県（8,396億円、前年比+0.2%）前年3位
4位　富山県（6,609億円、前年比-4.7％）前年4位
5位　滋賀県（4,997億円、前年比-8.3％）前年5位
でした。
生産金額の前年からの増加率が大きい都道府県のトップ5は、
1位　大分県　前年比+61.6%
2位　新潟県　前年比+51.0%
3位　群馬県　前年比+34.0％
4位　鳥取県　前年比+22.0％
5位　高知県　前年比+21.3％
でした。逆に前年からの減少率が大きい都道府県のトップ5は、
1位　岩手県　前年比-30.9%
2位　沖縄県　前年比-18.1%
3位　宮城県　前年比-17.1％
4位　石川県　前年比-16.3％
5位　鹿児島県　前年比-14.7％
でした。

■医療機器■

１．生産金額について
令和元年の医療機器の国内生産金額は、2兆4,263億円で、前年の2兆5,221億円と比べると、3.8％の減少となっています。
医療機器の生産金額も医薬品と同様、平成30年から令和元年に29.4％という大幅な伸びを示したため、平成30年の1兆9,490億円から比べると24.5 ％の伸びになっています。
生産金額の多い医療機器類は以下の通りでした。
1位　医療用鏡（2,850億円、前年比+17.8％）前年3位
2位　医療用嘴管及び体液誘導管（2,746億円、前年比-2.8％）前年1位
3位　内臓機能代用器（2,545億円、前年比-1.8％）前年2位
4位　医療用エックス線装置及び医療用エックス線装置用エックス線管
（2,103億円、前年比-6.9％）前年4位
5位　血液検査用器具（1,796億円、前年比-1.4％）前年5位

２．輸出入金額
医療機器の輸出金額は、9,909億円で前年比+2.0％で、金額で見た主な輸出国は
1位　中国（1,709億円、前年比+67.5％）
2位　アメリカ（1,199億円、前年比-10.9％）
3位　ドイツ（595億円、前年比-13.8％）
4位　オランダ（472億円、前年比+5.5％）
5位　韓国（402 億円、前年比-13.3％）
でした。
輸入金額は、2兆6,373億円、前年比-3.1％で、金額で見た主な輸入国は
1位　アメリカ（9,861億円、前年比-6.2％）
2位　アイルランド（2,752億円、前年比-7.1％）
3位　中国（2,306億円、前年比+15.4％）
4位　ドイツ（1,615億円、前年比-12.9％）
5位　メキシコ（864億円、前年比-5.6％）
でした。

３．都道府県ランキング
医療機器の生産金額の多い都道府県は、
1位　静岡県（3,654億円、前年比-9.2%）前年1位
2位　栃木県（2,266億円、前年比+1.4%）前年2位
3位　福島県（2,013億円、前年比+20.6%）前年4位
4位　茨城県（1,609億円、前年比-14.4%）前年3位
5位　埼玉県（1,429億円、前年比-9.0%）前年5位
でした。
生産金額の前年からの増加率が大きい都道府県のトップ5は、
1位　三重県　前年比+49.1%
2位　東京都　前年比+30.5%
3位　徳島県　前年比+24.2％
4位　福島県　前年比+20.6％
5位　和歌山県　前年比+10.6％
でした。逆に生産金額の前年からの減少率が大きい都道府県のトップ5は、
1位　山口県　前年比-56.4%
2位　鳥取県　前年比-29.8%
3位　福井県　前年比-26.9％
4位　岩手県　前年比-26.8％
5位　沖縄県　前年比-22.6％
でした。

まとめ

いかがでしたでしょうか。

2020年の医薬品と医療機器の生産金額は、共に2019年に比べて減少していましたが、2018年から2019年にかけて物凄い伸びを示しているので、2018年と比べてみると2018年からも大幅に増加をしており、生産は引き続き好調な状態にあります。
ただ、この先どうなっていくかは全くわかりません。
この先も、業界の動向を知るうえで、1年遅れとはいえ薬事工業生産動態統計には注視していく必要があると思います。

余談ですが、私の住む静岡は、医薬品生産金額の都道府県ランキングは3位、医療機器生産金額の都道府県ランキングは1位と去年と変わらない状態で、少しうれしかったです。
