リスク分析とは

前回解説したリスクアセスメントにおいて、最初に実施すべき事項が「リスク分析」である。
リスク分析（risk analysis）の定義はICH-Q9「品質リスクマネジメントに関するガイドライン」に以下の通り記載されている。
特定されたハザードに関連するリスクの推定
ハザードとは、危害の源のことをいう。
例えば、PCプロジェクターを例に挙げよう。
・光（投影時）
・熱（投影時）
・温風（ファンから噴き出す）
・電力
・電磁波
・重力（天井等に吊り下げた場合）
などである。
このうち「熱」が「高温」になった場合、危険状態となる。
高温状態になったPCプロジェクターにヒトが接触した際に「やけど」を負う。

このように「熱」⇒「高温状態」⇒「接触」⇒「やけど」といった、ハザードから危害を推測することを「リスク分析」という。
